Do you want to help develop the work of the Culture and Leisure Office and contribute to creating an even more vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive Upplands-Bro? We are now looking for an engaged business developer who wants to take a central role in the office's development and coordination.
About the position:
As a business developer, you will be an important part of the management team of the Culture and Leisure Office and will have a broad and varied assignment. The position involves both strategic work and coordination of central processes. You will be a key person in developing the office's working methods and in implementing larger municipal-wide assignments.
Your main responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the management team of the Culture and Leisure Office and contribute to governance and follow-up. Lead the work with office-wide processes such as committee plans, operational reports, consultation responses, and larger meetings.
- Write texts and materials together with coordinators and the office manager. Handle external grant applications, reports, and environmental monitoring, as well as drive development work and improve the office's work processes, and manage invoices related to the office's management.
- Be the office's environmental representative and be responsible for the environmental accounts, as well as represent the office in the municipality's local needs group.
- Coordinate planning for larger holiday periods, such as summer activities and summer jobs, in collaboration with other offices and associations.
- Be the main representative in the Innovation Hub and Systems Coordination Forum, as well as coordinate issues related to IT and digital development. Lead the local system administrator forum and associated meetings.
- Be responsible for planning, structure, and cooperation with FRG (resource group) to organize training for the Safety Points, which are the responsibility of the Culture and Leisure Office in a crisis situation.
In addition to the above, you will work broadly with management issues, office-wide assignments, and represent the office in municipal-wide contexts where needed.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree or equivalent competence that the employer considers relevant for the assignment.
- Experience from working in a politically governed organization.
- Interest and experience in issues related to IT and digital development.
- Experience in leading and developing processes.
- The ability to independently drive work towards set goals.
- Very good communication and written skills in Swedish.
- Experience in working in a management team is an advantage.

About the position
The position is a full-time position, permanent. A probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.
